这是pluto英语笔记本第五篇了，pluto在想到底有没有人在看。如果有的话，请回复我的帖子，即使只有一个人要看我也会继续写下去的。

1. throw for a loop
::: 令人吃惊，迷惑不解。

2. rainy day
::: 穷困潦倒的日子，特别指没钱。(上网搞得pluto每天都是rainy day)
::: a period of want or need
--- Rainy days come to us all.
--- keep sth. for a rainy day-未雨绸缪
3. let the cat out of the bag
::: 泻露秘密
::: to give away a secret
--- Tell me the trues, I won't let the cat out of the bag.
4. smell fishy
::: 感觉到可疑，有问题.一般指没有什么根据的直觉，一种自然产生的不信任。d版的vcd上这个词经常翻译错误。所以说看电影学英语最好能有人指点收益才比较大，起码也要道网上去当一个剧本来看。另一个问题就是d版制作者的专业素质有待提高。做d版也要讲职业道德呀，翻译的乱七八糟，一大段一大段的对白没有字幕，真是误人子弟呀，降低产品的成本也不要在这上面下功夫吗！哎，真是的。

5. chicken out

另外，也可以这样说，don't be chicken.
这里，chicken作形容词。
